CNC Programmer Training at CEME

CNC

CEME and Mills CNC were introduced to each other at the MACH 2010 exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham.  MACH is an exhibition organised for the engineering based manufacturing industry by the industry itself.

Mills CNC are the sole distributor of DOOSAN machine tools in the UK  and also offer a wide range of CNC Programmer Training Courses (Fanuc, Heidenhain and Siemans); CNC Operator Training Courses and CNC Maintenance Courses.

Having seen CEME Conference Centre's impressive state of the art facilities they were keen to explore opportunities with CEME to roll out some of this training in the South. Following various discussions and site visits, we are delighted to introduce the first of what is hoped will be regular CNC awareness and training sessions which will take place here at CEME in May and June.

The training, delivered by The CNC, will comprise two FREE half day information seminars on Tuesday May 10th followed by two, two-day supplementary courses on Fanuc Turning and Fanuc Milling.

The seminars will provide attendees with an overview of CNC machine tools and their use and application in today's increasingly global manufacturing sectors and industries.  The sessions will also look at the main control systems currently in use and explain the difference between machine tool 'Operation' and 'Programming'.

Ideally suited to manufacturers that want or need to train up their staff to manage more complex, higher value machining, the seminars will also benefit individuals looking to develop their skills and progress their careers.
